"It was like that before it went through the car wash sir.." - I was once told that by a car wash manager as my car came out with the wiper blades stuck in an A position.
I ended up having to replace the arm because of it. That was the last time I ever took my car to a car wash where someone else washes it.

I sent my current white NA Miata to the car wash by hand. Once the car was cleaned, I noticed some whiter splashes like if they splashed brake cleaner all over the paint and let it dry. I was furious and they could not explain what happened. They said that I had to pay to polish/buff the paint probably and they could not do any good will fix on it, it was like this before. I left angry and I decided to do something on my own a week later. I polished and waxed my paint myself. It turned out that there was a fine layer of hard dirt on the car. It was all gone and the paint was amazing to look at and touch! I was lucky.

Haha whoops. And he got hosed by the washers, too. Instead of a (maybe) tweaked wiper blade, he now has soap all up in his interior and ear cavity and a pwned door.
